“Puberty” is one of the first restaurant-breweries in Saint-Petersburg and the only place in the City where beer is brewed by the traditional Czech recipe under supervision of an honourable Czech brewer. The restaurant immediately gained great popularity among Petersburgers and won a place of honour on City’s “beer map”

The Czech beer with 400-ears history named “Saint Norbert” is brewed in “Puberty” and is especially valuable because the malt and hop for its production are brought from the Czech Republic. The matured beer thanks to modern technologies does not contact with fresh air on its way of maturating and storage thus keeping its unique taste. By a special beer-pipe that is laid under the restaurant floor, the beer is served straight from the fermentation plant to the bar and poured into beer mugs.

The huge bar counter, framing the glassed brewing room, leather sofas with backlighting, big tables and panoramic windows, from where one can enjoy a glorious view of the Neva River, good room acoustics and zoning, professional audio systems and variety of plasma display panels – all these help to create the feeling of comfort and style.

The menu of Restaurant includes both the dishes of European and traditional Russian cuisines as well as sushi and rolls highly popular in Saint-Petersburg that no reputable restaurant can go without.

Every Friday and Saturday the restaurant works in the club format: concerts of famous groups of Saint-Petersburg, foot tapping discos a la 80s, theme parties are held here. Beginning from 10 pm, you are invited not only to taste our delicious dishes but dance quite enough to your favourite hits as well. 

Our guests who speak English are surely interested in the origin of the name “Puberty”. Contrary to the expectations, this funny word comes from the merger of the words “Pub” and “Liberty” and symbolizes a democratic pub.
